Man I just discovered Orbit Culture and these guys are awesome. I'm not 100% sold on the cleans (it's good they're sporadic so far) but I like the rhythmic crushing groove they got going on through most tracks. Just found them and half way through Descent (the latest album from a few years ago) and it's really good stuff.

 

Orbit Culture are tight. I don't always return to their albums all that much but when they release a banger, man, it's a fucking banger IMO.

 

someone hit me with some albums similar to Timewave Zero by Blood Incantation. I know it's not their usual style, but I'm in the writing process again and I need some drone/ambient stuff to listen to while I work.

 

You should try dungeon synth if you haven't before. Quest Master is a personal favorite, and you can't really go wrong with any of his material.
