Yeah I dont think I can listen to Neurosis anymore

 

An actual good song from them. Their EP last year was garbage.

 

admittedly never listened to this prior to this, but this one caught my attention.

 

Empathetic and can't blame you for that at all, but the fact that Neurosis was a collective as opposed to the brainchild of one person helped me with that one. The rest of the band condemned Scott's actions swiftly as opposed to a Brand New situation where they're still enabling it. That was also probably the first time I listened to Neurosis in at least three or four years and only happened because a booter I follow on IG just put out a Through Silver in Blood boot which prompted the listen.

 

I agree with you 100% percent here. To me, they are not a problematic band. ONE member is extremely vile. This isn't like BN or a certain massive country singer where people decided to stream his music in force as retaliation to his "cancellation." I don't listen to Neurosis with the idea of protecting him. It's because the band did something special

 

Very reasonable response. TSIB is a very special album to me too so it hurts even more. One day I’ll get there possibly

 

Could the rest of Neurosis carry on as a band with a new singer or retiring the name and start fresh under a different band name?? The rest of the members of the band r too talented to be on the side lines, I know Steve Von Till is doing his own solo thing but man I would love to see the rest of Neurosis do something musically at somepoint in the near future.

 

If that group of musicians came back, it'd likely be under a different moniker if I had to guess just to how it ended. And that's a big if - Jason said he's done with music and sold most of his drum related stuff according to his Instagram. No idea what Dave's been up to other than guesting in a few places. Noah's got Tension Span and another project from what I can tell.

I'd love to see that core group get together again, but I'm not hopeful.
