Definitely more in the hardcore lane, but if anyone is a fan of Iron Age, there's a good chance you might dig this.
Idk if the discourse made it around to these parts at the time, but some people suspect that Draugveil album of being AI-assisted, if not entirely AI-generated. AFAIK the creator's only response to the matter was "Let people decide," which is either very metal or very AI bro. I don't have a take on the matter and I'm not criticizing it being on the list, just mentioning it if anyone cares about that sort of thing.
I think it's more telling that there's been no discourse about the album in the second half of the year. It's a solid release, but had absolutely no staying power for me after a couple of listens. Tbh, I think its goofy ass album cover is the only reason it got any discourse at all.
