Very much not okay right now. Fuck. Why do people like Varg get to still be alive but it's people like Trevor, Riley and Alexi that we lose. For fuck's sake.

 

Damn. This hits hard. Tbdm was such a gateway band into metal for me. It's really weird losing people that you don't know on a personal level but that had such a deep impact on your life.

 

Fell asleep to Unhallowed last night, still such a fun album

This is solid! I couldn't get into the last album at all but the newest EP was really solid and hinted at a proggier direction so I'm excited to hear more of that.

 

I always felt like Soilwork was just a more symphonic and folk version of KSE. Nothing wrong with them but not always consistent.

 

I always think of them more in terms of In Flames than Killswitch, but that's just me.
