New Malignant Altar album out 12/10. Q4 2021 is shaping up to be quite good for death metal.

looks like people named Damian are hyperprolific, Sadness has released another ep. That's 3 ep, 1 album and 1 split within 2 months.

I Can't Say Goodbye was posted to his youtube channel almost 2 years ago and it's now available on his bandcamp. This song is gorgeous, one of my favorites

 

Jared Dines finally coming out soon with the debut album of his Sion project with Howard Jones; sounds good

 

Excited for that. Whatever you think of his content, for my buck, every musical project Jared Dines has been involved in has always been decent to great. His band Daddy Rock (name aside) is a fuckton of fun.

you're better off hounding your local promoters for a one-off in Texas because i don't think i've seen either band ever tour this millennium.

 

I feel like Demolition Hammer did some shows a few years ago but maybe not a full tour. Mortician is playing Houston in a few weeks but I doubt I'll be able to go but yeah, I dont think they EVER tour.

 

New 200 Stab Wounds is a late AOTY contender. It's quite good.
