I'd hardly call Roy alt country. Its rock with a tiny bit with twangy guitar. Also he played bass in that band. He wasn't the main singer/songwriter with that group like we will be with this solo record.

Very into the new King Woman record

 

Jack Shirley killed it on the production and capturing the atmosphere. I wouldn't be surprised if they are picked up by Sargent House.
