Update: I am still alive. It's bad as expected but I do like it overall more than the last one. With that being said, there are MAYBE three tracks I would ever revisit again.

 

I agree. I know how bored some of those guys can get writing the same stuff and having to try to find new ideas in the same vein of, but I really don’t like the newer vocalist’s voice. Or lyrics for that matter.

 

I wish there were another Brain Tentacles album.

 

Possible (probable) grindcore release of the year for me.

The new Big Brave album is predictably excellent. I guess you could call it doom-gaze, maybe post-sludge:

 

It's been an Intervals kind of day for me

 

first time listening to this Altarage album, death/black metal from Spain and it's massive

that Cambion album is also a fun listen if you are into speed death metal

solid black metal from the Netherlands

 

Has anyone checked out this album?

 

Whoever recommended Dvne has my blessing, their new album along with the previous ones were fantastic. They're all going to be on rotation for a good while.

 

Just listened to all 5(!) of the new Gojira tracks and they finally hit for me.

 

Not super crazy about the latest Gojira track but still excited about the album

 

for anyone who likes sanguisaboogie but wants them to be more about drugs than horror.
