Short of being fans of Craig Pollard and putting out a Disma record in the past, what else have they done to cowtow to white supremacists?

Genuinely asking because they have worked with several left leaning and apolitical acts in recent years that I've enjoyed (Bleeding Out, Fotocrime, Full of Hell, Pallbearer, Infernal Coil, and Old Man Gloom to name a few).

Edit: They also worked with Cobalt before and after Phil McSorley got kicked out for having neo-Nazi leanings...just remembered that as well.

 

After Im Wald last year, Paysage d'Hiver returns with a new album Geister on April 23.

 

Some NWOBHM aka Iron Maiden worship. Good stuff.

The new Ecchymosis is absolutely fucking stupid feral.

This Bloody Hammers record is mad corny but I'm kind of in love with it all the same.

This Vanhelga record, kind of black/death/something-or-other that's joined rotation.

Norwegian black metal, straightforward but good.

Lastly, depressive black metal from Canada.

I've been keeping busy as usual.

 

Been on a bit of a Cianide kick over the weekend. I forgot how primitive and heavy a lot of their older material is. For those who like Bolt Thrower style death metal with a bit of doom injected in.

 

Slow doom in the vein of Cough or Primitive Man...little bit less bleak than those, but it still isn't cheery.

So I had the pleasure today of joining a metalcore Facebook group that I can I only describe as the literal bowels of hell. Instantly joined and regretted it because they are all Tim Lambesis worshipping fanboys. I made the mistake of speaking up and was instantly attacked and call stupid, dumb and yeah just about every name in the book. Not an admin in site. DO NOT GO IN THERE!

 

my boss let me borrow this Witch Cross CD today and it's pretty great. had never heard of em before, and thought at first they were another NWOBHM-revival act like Enforcer or Blade Killer but turns out they were actually formed in the 80s ha. looks like this album/band have become sort of a "lost classic" of NOWBHM. (they're Danish but whatever).

 

That’s what happens when signing up for a group chat inside a dumpster. Bound to be full of dirty rats making noise. But at least you’re not in the conspiracy groups on there claiming the snow in Texas isn’t really snow and was all a government control test.
