For some reason I am not crazy about the quality of Holy Mountain's shirts

 

Really? I have a Khemmis shirt from Holy Mountain and the print on it is nice and it's super comfy.

Seconding this. I've gotten a lot of merch from Holy Mountain over the years, and it's held up well. My Full of Hell hoodie from them is one of my faves. I just wish they didn't print their shirts on Gildan, but that's a different story.

 

That's the issue. Gildan

 

At least they're using Gildan Heavy as opposed to Gildan Ultra or Next Level. Not everyone can use Gildan Hammer, Alstyle, or Comfort Colors consistently especially with the supply chain issues of buying in bulk that the pandemic fucked up.

I never shared this when it first went up, but this is a decent track from a Chicago metalcore band that just so happens to feature yours truly as the stalking cloaked demon in the first minute of the music video or so. There isn't much of me after that but the rest of the song is fun for what it is as a first single IIRC. A friend of mine was working with this band as part of a film class back in college and asked me to help out as an actor, so naturally I agreed.

Still not catching a glimpse of my face, though.

Yup. I would constantly mix up Nora with Norma Jean lol.

 

I mean their sounds aren't that far off from each other. Especially when Norma Jean goes full on mathcore.

 

I always think of Ferret (RIP) with Nora, since Carl was in there.

 

He was Ferret, lol. It just turned into Good Fight. He has some really good bands on there and has good distribution since it falls under E One.

 

I know, I’m just being a nostalgic homer lol. That was back when you could follow a label and know you were getting something good just looking at the label on the back of the record.

 

Absolutely. Ferret and Trustkill bring back a ton of good memories.
