I'm late, but I just wanted to acknowledge that I've heard of a heavy band that you haven't for the first and probably last time. The song Dawn of the First Day off of A Fragile Hope is GREAT, and I'm really glad this thread mentioned them because I 100% forgot they existed.

EDIT: This new song is quite different from that, but I also didn't listen to the two albums in between the song I mentioned and this new one. I got some exploring to do.

 

Man, it’s truly sad what happened to Alexi in his final years. Dude went from being in a rising popular band in the 00’s to losing the rights to the very thing he started. Also, it was very well known how much of a hard partying dude he was and while it’s not stated, I think it’s very possible that his death was due to his substance abuse and the health effects that come with it.

 

RIP Alexi, Bodom were one of my favorite bands growing up and got me into playing guitar.

Yeah, it’s in the February 2021 issue. There is a teaser on Decibel’s site. Had no idea he was in Cold World.

 

Ahh ok. I know he plays guitar for cold world on tour sometimes but I don’t know how much he contributes on writing the songs. Might need to check my albums to see.
