I mean, that sounds about right

 

Yeah Black Dahlia Murder followed by Hawthorne Heights and Mac Lethal was an interesting morning at Warped.

 

I know we’re in the metal thread but can I just also reminisce on how good The Academy Is... is...was.

 

the respire album has big “late push for AOTY” energy

 

Its good but lacks the punch of Denouement. Glad you like it that much.

 

Have always enjoyed The Hu.

 

UNBELIEVABLY HEAVY. Love it

 

Most of upstate and western NY is a lot more like the south than you'd think. Buffalo for example is like if you took the South End of Boston and made a whole city out of it.

This album is so massive and works so well.

 

Been seeing this on a lot of AOTY lists...it's been tough for me to get into thou but I'll give this a go

 

It’s technically an EP but it will definitely be mentioned alongside some other great EP’s. I also think it’s a great introduction to both artists.

 

They refer to it as an LP on Bandcamp with a follow up EP coming in January!
