where to start with the 'breed

 

Yeah, the logo is dated buts it’s not THAT bad.

 

A great record to start with in their discography that’s my personal favorite:

 

Satisfaction is the Death of Desire is a hardcore classic and is more “punk” than their other material

Perseverance and The Rise of Brutality are real good smoothbrain assbeater records. I only really listen to them while driving/working out, but they do the job

 

love some smoothbrain caveman shit

 

The early Hatebreed records are just breakdown after breakdown. Plus, it’s pretty motivating.

 

It's always been awful.

 

Jamey Jasta is a pretty great guy to listen to though; really funny podcast. Not every guest I care to listen to, but Jamey himself as a podcast host is awesome

 

I'd just go chronologically. Satisfaction and Perseverance are essentials.

The breakdown in the song Perseverance is one of the hardest ever

 

The new Mors Principium Est song shreds. Would have posted the YouTube link but it's already down.

 

I was digging through some old boxes and came across a bunch of old ticket stubs. This is far from all of them, but the first bag I came across...

 

Hatebreed are better now than they've ever been imo. I like all their records to some degree or another but in my mind Supremacy is where they really hit their stride

 

I think it all depends on what era of the band you enjoy. I personally like their more hardcore oriented records but I can completely see how other people that don’t like hardcore would be more in tune with their recent records.

 

Hatebreed's logo is iconic. C'mon now, man. I'm also a fan of all of their eras of material for different reasons. Like I said in the hardcore thread, the new single ain't Perseverance or Satisfaction... but it's pretty solid for 2020 Hatebreed. I like it better than anything off of The Concrete Confessional.
