    That "Stare Into Death and Be Still" album from Ulcerate is sooo good I bought the CD; being delivered Tuesday. On good headphones this album sounds unrelentingly heavy

    probably their best so far... the drumming is insane... got it on vinyl & sounds amazing

    my only problem with them is that all songs on their albums kinda blur into one another but it’s a damn good song

    Yeah I will say I think Ulcerate despite their unrelenting heaviness is doomed to be "that one band I can't get into no matter how much I want to." I just cannot stay focused during a listen through of any of their stuff.

    Their older stuff has that effect on me but this album is something else, one of the few metal albums I can spin front to back. Pleasently surprised.

    Catchy thrash on Southern Lord. Last time I saw them, the vocalist had a sword on stage. That sums it up.



    probably my favorite heavy release of the past few years. Mariusz Lewandowski and Kurt Ballou are an elite combo. Think a groovier Nails/Trap Them, but every bit as ugly and crushing.



    I feel like you’ve probably heard this, but if not you will love it
