I didn’t write this one but I am very excited for it.

 

I think the new END record is going to end up on a LOT of EOTY lists. It's awesome!

new Thou cover album??

 

Is this just a collection of their Nirvana covers with maybe a few new ones thrown in? I know they've covered a number of these over the years.

 

New track from UADA from their upcoming album. It's solid, but I like their past stuff a lot more. Too mid tempo for me.

 

Conversely, here's a new single from Yautja that's very good. Also, all proceeds from it are going to help those fighting the good fight against racism and corruption in the police so there's double good here.

 

Fuck TGI. Band has always been mediocre try hards and never really fit in with either Metal or Hardcore scenes, and now this:

 

I always just assumed The Ghost Inside was the one random Mediaskare band that didn't fade into the abyss. I'll give them props for keeping their stuff going after their bus accident, but that doesn't make them immune from criticism at all.

MAYBE SCOTT VOGEL WAS RIGHT?

 

Lambgoat and multiple others are enticing the band to comment now. He addressed this on Twitter publicly back in 2015 but no one acknowledged it.

The new Currents album is actually pretty decent for Metalcore.

 

Wow haven't heard the name Mediaskare in a long time

 

I mean

It's cool he apologized and has done a lot of introspection

But the band has got to kick him out for that. Letting him stay on is the real issue here. Put this way...the bassist was definitely a racist then, maybe he doesn't act that way anymore, let's give him the benefit of the doubt...but when the band continues to let him stay, that's what contributes to systemic racism. That's a really bad look on them.

 

I’m honestly surprised Epitaph hasn’t commented. I don’t think they want that kind of publicity.

Been on a Slip kick. I’m revisiting Vol.3 probably the first time since 9th grade. So 15 years wow. Always thought this album slays, and is under appreciated.

 

As predicted, END is insanely good. I like it better than Umbra Vitae. The anti-religious themes help immensely.

 

I’m glad they did the right thing.

 

I'm falling in love with old Metallica again lol. The back half of AJFA is so underrated.
