I’ve seen the opening of XXX that’s enough Ramstein for me.

 

I mean, I would love to see that in person but I’m not traveling to other states and paying mad dollars for that either.

 

I've seen them twice. Once in 2001 and again a couple years ago. They have a great live show, but I've never been a huge fan of their music and personally the live show wasn't enough for me to want to travel to see it over a band that I'm actually into.

 

I just found out there is a new Paysage d'Hiver full lenght on the way, great news.

Apparently Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson's

in case you hadn't noticed just by looking at him for the last 30 years

 

i definitely assumed it was more DT than parkinson’s

 

Yeah, I don't really know enough about either disease, just that Ozzy's been shaking for ages

 

He got diagnosed with onset Parkinson's back in 05 so it's full blown now. Feel bad for him, he should just retire and enjoy the rest of his days. Too bad Sharon won't allow that to happen though.

 

It's crazy that he still tours as rigorously as he does. Seems like he should have retired years ago but he'll probably live his final days on stage.

Holy shit, is it too early to think this album will be in my top five of the year? Black metal with great, audible bass playing, post-punk stylings, harmonic heavy metal leads, doomed folk passages, all seamlessly interwoven under a layer of hazy psychedelia.

Check this out, you won't regret it. There 2017 release was top notch too.

 

Sludgy stuff from members of Full of Hell, Backslider, and Triac:

 

This is real good, but it really makes me want new material from Backslider. Motherfucker and the 7" they put out a couple years ago were great. They supposedly recorded a new LP last summer, but there hasn't been a peep about that in a while. :/

 

The first track on the new Midnight album is titled "Fucking Speed and Darkness". That about sums it up. Good shit.

 

I'm not even into Rammstein like that but they are coming here and seems like a must-see experience

 

Rammstein falls into the category of "bands I would see if still lived in a major city, but probably won't travel for otherwise" for me.

 

If Rammstein is playing nearby and you can go affordably, it's worth checking them out. But I wouldn't go out of my way or pay a ton of money to see them.

 

Sadness recorded this track on August 2018 and released it last November
