If Triumvir Foul cared about money they would be auto-crooning over trap beats instead of gurgling sewage vocals over dissonant, murky riffs. I love their logo and I love their music even more.

 

There is a new Code Orange track out there. People are going to hate on them but we all knew they were headed in a more industrial direction. I am actually enjoying it.

The first release of 2020 that I have listened to is pretty sick. A nice EP of ghostly, occult melodic black metal.

It’s immeasurable how much he influenced metal drumming, he was a true inspiration to any drummer wanting to be something more. Mike Portnoy was close to him and he wrote a beautiful piece about him, he ended it saying that Neil would always be his hero.

 

This Unreqvited album is pretty dang good:

 

Vio-lence, Deafheaven, Power Trip and Carcass were awesome last night. Wish I could have gotten there earlier to see some of the other bands but it was out of my control. I'm sure Power Trip gets crowds rowdy wherever they go, but when they come back to Dallas, things go off.
