I’ve never been huge on shirts from bands. I have a few of course but I’d rather buy the music.

I still buy band shirts every now and then, but I'm a little more particular about it now. I don't listen to music any way other than digitally, so I don't really buy physical music anymore unless it's vinyl that I can get signed by the band.

My wardrobe is like 90% band shirts haha. Today I'm wearing a Copeland shirt. Yesterday it was Blood Incantation, Monday was Phoebe Bridgers, and Sunday was Comeback Kid. Tomorrow is Power Trip.

Typing that out made me realize how I should probably buy other clothes lol

It also probably helps that I work in an environment where I can get away with tucking a flannel shirt in non-blue jeans and say it's business casual. I usually just use my band shirts as undershirts with that.

But yeah, I probably should also buy other clothes too.

My band shirts are automatically deemed “gym shirts” lol. I am a glorified prep. No shame here!

This is pretty good but did feel a bit “samey” and A LOT longer than 36 minutes.

^The fact that they're still finding weed related puns for song titles after all these years is impressive.

So Obituary actually announced a show here during their East Coast run in December...that'll be a nice Xmas present for myself as the first metal show I'll make it out to post-baby being born.

The new Nile sounds like Nile which is cool

That tour is coming to town next week but I have to take my gf to the airport at like 4 AM the next day and Nile headlines so I probably wouldn't even get home until like midnight

Who here has seen Morbid Angel live? Is it a pretty crushing/intense experience? They're here in Minneapolis on December 7th and considering seeing them for the first time

    I
    Nothing Is Not
    Day of Suffering
    Blasphemy

    Unholy Blasphemies
    Prayer of Hatred
    God of Emptiness
    Architect and Iconoclast

I've seen them a couple times and they were good. If you dig them on record, I'm pretty sure you'll like the live show. Plus if Incantation is playing your date, their pretty solid live.

Who’d thought alienating people and the changing of times would cause your band to struggle?

I remember when he was outspoken about his support for Victory, guess Tony didn’t really help them out like he said they did.
