Curious about this since their vocalist owns the label that put out their debut before Metal Blade picked them up. I wonder what happened.

How I got Banned from Photographing Arch Enemy

 

For those who are into the nastier metal, the labels Iron Bonehead and Nuclear War Now are holding their Never Surrender Festival in Oakland, CA this year instead of Germany. Last year had a lot of sick bands like Jordablod, Khthoniik Cerviiks, and Blasphemy. Really curious to see what bands the fest gets. Each label gets 7 bands, for a total of 14.

 

What other Neurosis albums fuck besides Through Silver In Blood?

 

Honestly any of their 90's albums other than Word As Law. The further back you go, the more crust/punk they get, is that's your thing.

 

My two other personal favs are Enemy Of The Sun and Times Of Grace. Given To The Rising I also fuck with pretty hard, Honor Found In Decay too.

 

You know, I dig crust punk a hell of a lot, but I don't think Neurosis were particularly good at it.
