My personal favorite is Fiction, but I think I've seen The Gallery and Damage Done thrown around the most as the best DT album. I honestly haven't revisited their other albums besides Fiction much. I should do that.

 

poking around the internet character and fiction were usually the top two

This was a great read. I was trying to remeber the name Monster Magnet forever. My friends buddy played them for me one time years ago, and I loved them.

 

I was never super into DT but The Gallery is a pretty good listen and a landmark album for the genre

i know he’s made himself a bit of an easy target to make fun of, but Newsted is pretty easily the best of the bassists metallica had. his work on AJFA alone pretty much seals that for me

 

Just don't tell me you're able to bite directly into ice without dying or you're a monster.

 

My father-in-law loves Outlaw Country. Maybe I can use this as a gateway for him into metal haha.

 

I'll probably give it a spin because of the features, but DevilDriver doesn't do much for me as a metal band let alone playing country songs.

 

As a HUGE Metallica fan, I agree. Cliff was amazing, of course, but I really felt like Jason fit the band the best. He was so good live (watch Live Shit) and his backing vocals were the best the band ever had.
