That's one of my favorite records of the decade it's really really important to me

 

Why is that?

 

It came out at a really really rough time in my life and it got me through a really difficult situation

 

when I was withdrawing from heroin and couldn't move for three days I never turned it off, because I couldn't get up and change my music lol

 

I’m happy you got through that. The lyrics are really good and very motivating.

holy shit this Golgothan Remains album is right up my alley. Crazy that these guys are unsigned.

 

Marathon is one of the most relatable songs I've ever heard

 

Personal Hell is a fucking banger of an album

 

It has a ton of Doom to it and the guitar is straight up War From a Harlots Mouth. It’s good!

 

Seeing all the love pouring in for the new Rolo Tomassi makes me super fucking emotional, discovered that band when I was laid up after knee surgery and deeply depressed, end of 2008/early 2009 sorta time. I didn't understand what was going on for most of Hysterics but I'd had it recommended to me by a good friend with excellent music taste. I liked it, kept persisting with it over months and then it fell into place before I heard Cosmology; and then I just knew I was on board.

Time Will Die & Grievances are worlds away from the band I got into almost a decade ago, but my tastes and expectations have changed a lot since then and they've become one of those bands, who are doing everything I like to hear in heavy music in 2018. Absolutely blown away.

 

It's an amazing fucking record. First time in awhile I've bumped the same album more than once in the day.

I've passed up seeing them like twice. I should stop doing that.

Definitely getting some Iron Maiden vibes.

 

I wish I could take it back, this band is nuts
