So is it safe to say that Boris is the sludge metal act

Boris have some excellent records, and some absolutely useless ones. But I guess that's kind of inevitable when you release 50 albums a year, ha. New one is really good though.

 

Last Boris album I loved was their 2011 trilogy. I've had trouble keeping up with them since then.

 

Yeah, I can't say Boris is a consistent band so that title might be reserved for someone else.

 

I can't wait to hear the Paysage d'Hiver new track.

That new Trivium song isn't too bad. Nice to hear him screaming again.

With our recent discussion of NeO, I'd like to say that this is an improvement...not by much but I like it more than I remember their other material.

 

This is probably in my top ten for the year so far

 

This will be in my top 5 for the year but I need to sit down and listen to it in one sitting haha.

 

I remember seeing some mixed opinions about this guy but I love it. Feel like whatever he puts out next will be huge.

Their saving grace is that they usually hit a home run when they have a good album. Pink, Heavy Rocks, Akuma no Uta and Feedbacker are some of the best of that genre.

 

I couldn't agree more.
