the last two records were both pretty meh for me. hoping this one reels me back in.

 

Shit yeah. I’m excited. I just listened to After The Party, Hello Exile, and Some Of It Was True over the weekend.

Kind of a perfectly underrated trilogy if you ask me.

The song is OK. Like most have said it would slip onto the last album. I do prefer more punchy Menzingers though, especially for leadoff singles.

 

Perfect driving song.

 

I prefer their more energetic songs, but this hooked me in pretty quickly. Always excited for a new record.

2023's underappreciated gem Some Of It Was True

 

I would say a handful on the last two albums, but basically ATP.

i’m not asking them to be Minor Threat.

 

Try is a full on banger and I would say Hope Is A Dangerous Little Thing is "energetic" as well

 

They haven't had the full piss and vinegar as much since ATP in my opinion, but both of those albums are enjoyable.
