Still waiting and wondering when they’ll be some news on a new record. Maybe after their tour?

 

Was reallllllly hoping before the tour. Give us a single and album announcement before it starts, tour, drop the album in the fall, and do another fall tour lol.

That was my wishful thinking haha

 

That’s kind of what I thought too. I love the Record Store Release, so it’s not like things have been quiet. I’m just excited for a new record, and finally seeing them live (after they didn’t end up joining Frank Turner on that tour as was planned when I bought tickets).

New song didn’t hit me the same way that Lookers did (in terms of a lead single), but I still dig it. IMO it sounds like a hybrid of Lookers and House On Fire.

 

Already hooked, but my main issue is that October feels like a lifetime away.

October is basically next week compared to Ratboys announcing their record for Feb 28 of next year lol

I should have asked earlier because that was right in cue.

Anna sounds like it’s somewhere in line with After The Party and their RSD release, but more polished production (to distinguish itself from release). Really looking forward to this record and seeing them live. October countdown.

 

Was anyone at Chameleon Club (in Lancaster) on Friday Night? Did you make it through the whole show? I had to leave because the venue clearly did not have A/C on and I was on the borderline of a panic attack the entire time.

 

I made it to the venue 2 songs into the Menzingers and stood in the back right next to the door and tbh I'm still surprised I made it through the whole set

 

I wasn’t there, but I saw Gaslight there 4 years ago and TBS in Oct. 2011 and Sept. 2016, and that place is a goddamn furnace no matter what time of year you see a show there.

Any chance they recorded some b sides or covers to Hello Exile or does Jay do mastering? Not sure.

 

Listened to an interview with Tom. Will Yip recorded this album as I think people know, but it will have a more live/less polished feel.

Also, band is resigned to Epitaph (they had a three record deal with OTIP, RW, ATP).
