Psyched that I won tickets to see them and Lucero tomorrow Frank Turner I'm less familiar with but from what I've heard should be decent
Lucero is one of my favorite bands - but last night they bored the hell out of me. They basically just played their new album that's not out yet from front to back - which I think was cool - but the delivery was just tiresome. Also Frank Turner might be the most energetic act on the bill.
The Menzos put on a great set when i saw them in Philly. FT is super high energy and he’s very engaging with the audience. My gf isn’t really into this kind of music and doesn’t know his music, but she was loving his set. You’ll have a great time.
Seeing this show tomorrow night, big Frank fan, and now a brand new Menzingers fan. I really like their 3 most recent albums. Are their first 2 albums similar ??
Chamberlain Waits fits in with the other 3 and is right up there in greatness A Lesson In Abuse is cool and definitely worth checking out but easily their weakest. First 3 tracks are bangers
I can’t believe we’re only two years away from CW 10-year shows. Having never heard of the band till OTIP I must go
I don't think they'll do a tour but I feel like they'd play it in full at Fest and their holiday show
Thought they were great, was my 1st time. Don't know why but assumed singing duties were more evenly split in this band than they were last night (75/25)
Took a trip into northern Pennsylvania to see some nature, we stopped over in Scranton for some Office tourism and even ended up filling up at the station next to the Bad Catholics Turkey Hill lol. We were on the main plaza in front of the electric city sign and I immediately recognised the benches from the Richard Coury video, so I guess it's a good occasion to bring it up for people who aren't aware of its existence :
A Lesson..., Chamberlain Waits, and Hold On are all awesome releases. The takes some of y'all make. :(
Not sure if this has been mentioned before (and it's probably just me), but Greg sounds a lot like H Jon Benjamin. I've been hooked again on OTIP these last few days, out of nowhere I just pictured Archer singing Burn After Writing, and now it's hard to get out of my head.
