What time did they go on? I’m driving from Philly and my boss just told me I can’t leave work till 6!
I realize a few pages back I’d like to see them close with a different song, but to put their traditional closer at the top? That’s odd. That’s like Frank Turner opening a set with Photosynthesis or Four Simple Words
I think opening with it would have made sense but second is super weird for some reason haha I really wish I could have went to these shows
I feel like Four Simple Words would actually be a wicked fun opener, but I’m very okay with it being the closer. In Remission should always be the closer. It’s friggen perfect.
UPDATE pt2: last night was even better than Friday. But yea bummed they didn't play Casey. However, seeing them play Mexican guitars live 2 nights in a row in a small venue is an incredible rock and roll moment for me. The energy was unreal. This band is doing it man.
There’s some clips on their Instagram story right now of a fan they brought up onstage playing Nice Things on Tom’s guitar. This band
If they brought me up stage for that it better be the encore because I wouldn't leave until I finished the set.
St. Paddy's day and I'm seeing the Menzingers tonight for the first time. They're doing an acoustic set at a brewery with a special "Irish Goodbyes" beer on tap for today and then the concert tonight.
Anyone know what spot their set is on the tour with Frank Turner, Lucero and Homeless Gospel Choir? Are they opening, 2nd or 3rd? I'm going to Philly tmrw night, and I don't wanna miss them. I'd like to catch Lucero's set too but I don't listen to them all that much.
Order is Homeless Gospel (20ish minutes), Menzingers (35ish minutes), Lucero (An hour-ish), Frank (90ish minutes)
Awesome, thank you! Part of me was hoping that since it's a hometown show for them that they'd get the 3rd slot, but I'll take what I can get.
Part of me thinks Menz might get bumped up for Philly to direct support. Their draw here is great, they even headlined at the same venue last year.
