These guys desperately need reenergising; they’ve fallen into dad-rock territory.

 

Yeah! They need to shut up and be 24 and write those songs again! Fuckers!

 

Or, y’know, have a little more variety in their lyrical content and song tempos? The last few albums have all sort of blended together.

 

haha, umm they are 40 (at least nearing that), so yeah I'm pretty sure they are in the dad-rock age. Should they make music for high schoolers with lyrics about taking their date to the movies?

I thought their last record was top notch. I’m listening to it now. The first and last tracks are amazing.

Excited for what’s next. Last two albums are my favorites. Probably because I’m about to turn 39 and this is one band I’ve grown with.

 

They've inspired what I consider to be one of the best Hard Times articles of all time.
