I like both of these songs so far but they don’t touch ATP material. But almost nothing does for me.

 

Don't really like either of these songs as much as anything on ATP or HE

 

I'm not listening. Waiting for the album, only 8 weeks!

 

Menzingers definitely know how to write catchy anthems.

 

I'm really loving No Place in This World For Me but not really feeling the second single

 

Really excited for this record and to finally see these guys for the first time somehow in December.

This band has songs I like better than others, but I don’t think they’ve put out a song from Chamberlain on that I’ve actively disliked. Just so consistent

 

Pretty much how I feel. After the Party is better than Hello Exile but........also........Hello Exile is pretty great still !

 

From my run through the discography this afternoon, the last two still rule, On the Impossible Past is the masterpiece, and Rented World is mostly just not for me.

 

Yeah Hello Exile rules and has just some really excellent songs (HS Friend, Last to Know, Strangers Forever, Farewell Youth, Hello Exile, etc.). What a great band. Steven Hyden has that thing where he talks about great bands who pass the 5 album test, well if this new one is awesome (it probably will be), I think they'll officially pass the test.

I think my ranking is probably…

OTIP > ATP > CW = RW > HE

But I love them all dearly

 

I really do love Rented World while still admitting that half of it is not as good as the other half

 

Nothing before the Yip stuff really did it for me, and judging by the first couple songs released, this might not either. Glad everyone’s digging it though

 

First album ordered that's not expected to ship until 2024.

 

Where Your Heartache Exists is one of the best songs ever created by human beings.

 

I'd like to personally thank Jesus for a Menzinger's album that sounds as good as the band deserves.

ATP is my favorite but I definitely like RW more than OTIP

I like to play guess the Tom fronted songs before the album comes out - Nobody Stays. Try, Ultraviolet, Alone in Dublin, and maybe High Low.

Bummer on vinyl till January

Honestly the overhype of that album is what turned me off of the band for awhile.
