The last album I truly loved from them was after the party and it’s basically a decade old now.

 

tbh i think jello exile (i am not changing that typo lmao) is one of their best, im not really against the vibe and style of the newer stuff, just didnt like the songs that time around

 

Last 3 albums are easily their best

 

my ranking for this band is completely all over the place and def not the consensus at all lmao. new ones the only one i dont vibe with

I actually thought this album was a much welcomed return to form after thinking Hello Exile was my least favorite thing they’ve done.

Hello Exile

 

Hello Exile is an excellent entry in their excellent catalog.

 

Hello Exile's only crime is following up After the Party which is almost untouchable.

 

Impossible Past is the best one, but I’m a coin flip on After the Party and Hello Exile for number 2, depending on the day. Rented World is handily my least favorite.

honestly hello exiles biggest issue is just that its so light on tom songs. theres only 3!!!

 

Some of it was true and Hello Exile are better than After The Party, yes, that’s my humble opinion

After the Party was their peak imo

 

Nope. On The Impossible Past and Chamberlain Waits are their peak, though After The Party is pretty close to those two. Any ither opinions can be handily dismissed.

 

on the impossible past has not aged the way i wanted it to unfortunately, find myself skipping through it these days, would say about every other song captures my interest. highlights are undeniably up with their best songs tho

i do think the first 5 songs on chamberlain waits might be their best run ever

 

I don't care for anything before After the Party

 

Some Of It Was True might actually be my favorite...or at least very close to tied with Rented World.

I love the tom songs on some of it was true but for the first time ever I don’t really care for the Greg ones other than come on heartache

 

I dislike how old this picture made me feel. I had to zoom in like 500000% to read this and made me think of my grandparents who have the text on their phones so big you can only read like 4 words at a time lol

 

After The Party is maybe one of the best 10 records in this scene over the last decade of releases.
