The opening riff is such a rip of some 80s song but I can’t exactly place it and it’s driving me crazy. I thought it was Dancing in the Dark but that’s not quite it

The intro reminded me of Your Wild Years personally.

I heard Dancing with Myself immediately but also thought of this as well hah

 

Song is great and worthy of the album proper.

 

It’s been driving me nuts why it sounded familiar and my wife clocked it right away. It’s “Dancing With Myself” by Billy Idol lol

 

And I’m now seeing others got there first but whatever I feel better at least having an answer haha

 

I like this song more than most on the album, Tom has really shined lately

 

No it sounds like the strokes - making bad decisions.

This song is better than a lot of the back half of the album imo.

 

Just here to say 'The Last One Killed Me' is great. Easily like this song more than 75% of SOIWT.

The Last One Killed Me is pretty good. I like when Greg channels his acoustic side every now and again. This song reminds me how good his solo album was and will be listening to that this morning

 

I love "The Last One Killed Me" so much. A Greg acoustic song about being an aging punk is such a fastball down the middle for me.
