The show on Friday was an awesome time. Set was great. No major complaints other than the fact that the Metro is a pain in the ass to get to from the west of the city via public transit, but that didn't detract from the evening at all.
Yea Jeff was $15. Menzingers are all black vinyl, Worry. is a cotton candy pink/blue swirl color, in case anyone's wondering.
Good Graphics and Too Shabby on vinyl. All 3 full lengths on Casette. A hoodie, baseball tee and two shirts I believe
Looks like the Houston setlist was the same as Chicago except they swapped I Was Born for Time Tables.
Rozwell Kid was about 30 minutes. Jeff was about 40-45 minutes. The Menzingers was just over an hour, I think.
Have they only played Charlies Army in Detroit then? Also I Was Born would have been cool to hear 8-830 RK 845-930 JR 945-11 Menz
Yeah, but most of the recent Cleveland shows have had that song in the set. I was fine with them giving us Time Tables this time around even though that one seems to get played more in totality.
Menzingers debuted The Bars for the first time in the US tonight AND we got Mexican guitars. Jeff Rosenstock was also sick. Shoutout to all of the friendly people in the pit tonight show was awesome as fuck.
what were you wearing? i had a red flannel and glasses on, that pit was a blast. everybody was so nice! didn't keep track of the order but by album they played: i was born good things burn after writing gates mexican guitars nice things casey asshole rodent my friend kyle in remission tellin lies thick as thieves lookers midwestern states house on fire the bars bad catholics after the party
I was the short guy who wore a white riot fest Chicago tee and my friend was the tall dude in th USA tank top, basically in front of Greg the whole time. Lots of bruises and a cracked phone screen but had the time of my life.
Was listening to Ryan from Off With Their Heads' podcast and he had Greg on and commented how much he likes touring with the Menz because their fans are all so nice haha
