I think the “little Irish in your blood” part is probably my single favorite moment in any one of their songs.

 

A LITTLE BOSTON IN YOUR ATTITUDE … that song always is a fan favorite in MA (along with obv In Remission)

 

Obviously tons of their songs reference Philly but the first time I heard "Please come back to Philadelphia" I knew I would love Anna

 

I’m from none of those places but those lines still work on me too

 

All I know is Gates is my favorite song of theirs. Your Wild Years is probably next. Strain Your Memory is climbing.

 

Not gonna try to do a top 5, ha. Gates would probably be near the top, though.

I know I really like this album because every day this week I've had a different song from it that's been my favorite / stuck in my head. Yesterday it was Strain Your Memory and today it's Strawberry Mansion.

 

i'm trying to think of albums that have stronger/as strong of a fun as "Strain Your Memory" thru "Farewell Youth". You could even argue that the incredible run can begin with "Portland".

this album is a treasure

 

Love seeing Nothing Feels Good Anymore on this list! One of my top 3 songs from RW.

 

Such a banger and my go to song whenever I'm in a rut lol

This album like, hurts my ears but the songs are still good so its made me go through this weird paradoxical behavior of not really wanting to listen to this but when I do I'm glad I did. Normally production and mixing doesnt bother me but this one really bothers me. I kinda wish they wrote about more....substantial topics but Menzos are a band that could keep writing the same kinds of songs forever and I'd probably be ok with it. I think this will end up being my least favorite of the last 5 albums but its still better than most things.

I had a relapse too a while ago, sometimes a rough week is all it takes and it sounds like he’s had an extraordinarily rough time. Glad the record getting love seems to be a positive spot for him

 

I haven't listened to anything before ATP. Guess I should fix that today

 

I think my favorites from this so far are Last To Know and Strain Your Memory. Hello Exile and America are up there as well.
