Got an email from Kings Road saying my sunburst vinyl won’t be shipping out until next week. Ugh.

 

Very sad news

 

I had a conversation last night saying THIS album is an album I was hoping would have no delays because I wanted to hold it and spin it non stop this weekend. And then get that email. Ugh. Lol.

If Sunburst is indeed Friday I’ll probably still get it Saturday with how close I am to LA

 

What a wonderful Friday this is going to be. Possibly my most anticipated release date in years.

pre-order delays are so unprofessional. It happens way too often

 

Kings road Merch is fucking garbage. I don’t even bother preordering from them

After The Party got pushed back like 3-4 months because of manufacturing delays, as did La Disputes last one

Delays are usually due to the pressing plant, not the merch/label stores.

they just said that they wrote and recorded the songs EXACTLY the way they wanted them, to anyone complaining about the production it is completely intentional.

 

after hearing 2-3 songs come out with the same production, i don't think the argument was whether or not it was intentional (unless i missed something in this thread), but i still don't think it was a great decision. still very much looking forward to hearing the whole thing Friday.

 

I don't think anyone thought otherwise. The band didn't get bamboozled by Will Yip. They just made a poor decision.
