Both definitely B sides and not as good as the others but fun songs regardless

 

Even menzingers b-sides are great songs

 

I like both b-sides more than a couple of songs from After the Party.

I guess I’m in the minority here, but the two songs didn’t do much for me at all.

 

Toy soldiers, The Freaks, No Penance and Cemetery's garden makes one hell of an ep!

 

I absolutely LOVE Toy Soldier, but that one aside I see all these as perfect b-sides. Glad they decided to share them before blowing our minds this summer/fall.

 

Really hope we get this by fall

 

I imagine we will since there is a summer tour

 

The summer tour seems to me more of a B market tour, which tells me the album may not be out before it begins. I’m thinking album will drop August/September and a big fall tour will follow.

At least the album is DONE recording. I just hope it isn’t a repeat where we get the lead single in August and the album doesn’t drop 6 months after lol. That was torture.

 

I hate to be the pessimist, but between mixing, mastering, vinyl pressing, and promo rollout, this could easily be an early 2020 release. A single right before or after the B market tour does seem likely though.

 

Yep I’m fearing this as well. And I would be very bummed for it to come out during winter. Just such a buzzkill haha.

I honestly believe we'll have the new album this year and it won't be a long rollout this time.

 

Hmmmm, maybe music video being filmed? Single released relatively soon-ish?

Very ready for a new Menzingers record

 

It feels impossible that ATP was released almost 2 and a half years ago at this point. Usually a break this long will feel like an eternity for a band I love, but ATP's staying power has made the time fly. Easily one of my favorite albums of the last five years, possibly ever.

I hope I think back as fondly on LP6 in three years as I do about ATP now!

 

That DOES sound impossible, I can't believe it's been that long. I still listen to it at least like once a month.

 

Epitaph always takes so fucking long to put out albums that are done. I would bet it takes longer than sooner.

 

Hell yeah!

 

Fortunately this is a band used to writing about the impossible past.

 

I went to the Wonder Bar today and it made me very happy.
