Asshole, Rodent, Nothing Feels Good, and In Remission would make 80 percent of my top five fav Menz songs on a lot of days

 

It is wild to me that anyone ranks After the Party at the bottom.

 

kinda feel the same even though I love Dont Wanna Be An Asshole

 

Rodent is good

 

i dont think the gap between my fav and least fav Menz records is very vast. i loved ATP when it first released but haven't listened all the way through in at least a year.

 

cant get behind ATP

 

I haven't listened to Rented World in a long time. I remember not being a huge fan of that one. I should revisit.

 

Probably listen to ATP more than any of their others, but OTIP has gotta be my favorite. Just about a perfect album tbh

SLS is quite a bit more pop-punk than the menz imo

 

My Friend Kyle is one of their best songs though

 

RW has some of the strongest Tom songs imo, although I like his stuff more than most in general

 

RW is pretty easil my favorite and the only one I listen to with any regularity, but I’ve had the same conversations with the same people for years about it and don’t feel like doing that

 

RW was the album that got me into this band, so I’m a bit more bias with loving that album, ATP is great too.

 

My hottest menz take is that I don’t think CW is all that good as a whole

 

There are a lot of weak songs on it

 

ATP is perfect. And I thought OTIP was perfect at the time.

 

I don’t think they’ve made a perfect album yet

don't think there’s an outright bad song on OTIP. there’s songs I like less than others, but it’s pretty great all the way through imo

Guessing they've haven't listened to the last 3 albums

 

how does three better albums make the first album bad by default? don’t even care about CW at all but what is this logic even

 

Not say it's bad just the other 3 are better in every single way

 

first person says CW isnt that good, you say this isnt a hot take, first person says people like CW around here, you say those people havent heard the last three albums. am i missing something here because thats exactly what youre saying, CW is bad because the other three albums are good, which makes no logical sense to me at all
