Something sounds odd about the rhythm or pronunciation in the chorus. Production sounds good though, Greg’s voice sounds super clean
They just dropped the song on Patreon, it does in fact rock. They’re not announcing album tomorrow sadly (it comes out this year) but fall tour
I just feel like it's such a weird way to build buzz. It seems like we're finally getting the Gaslight Anthem album announcement soon, but it seems like there's less excitement around their return now than there was leading into the first single? Whereas, if you do it all at once, there's just a much more logical momentum build there. I don't know, I'm sure there's some sort of science behind this kind of thing, but it has never made any sense to me.
This has been happening a lot more lately and it definitely sucks. I think it has to do with album stuff not being ready but the tour needing to go up and needing something to push alongside the tour I guess
I was pumped with what Olivia Rodrigo did lol Announced on a Monday her new album only 2 months out. Released new song that Friday. Love it. I get things happen out of the band’s control to cause delays and all that, and I’m sure if I worked in marketing for a label I’d have a better perspective. I know for the TWY it was vinyl delays. Oldest Daughter came out in April. Album announced June. Album release September.
Oh definitely, I’m sure it’s a whole thing. Just stinks cause you know bands wanna get their music out and obviously so do fans but I’m sure there’s so much behind the scenes causing delays
Not the biggest fan of that lineup, but honestly the older I get, I’m more excited when I can just show up right before the headliner. Hoping we get some NW dates.
