Strangers forever is the best song on the record?

 

it's unbelievable cringe, even for a band that playfully (to good results sometimes) dips there toes in that from time to time. again, i like the band, and want to give this album a chance, but yeesh that song sucks.

didn't know I'd be waking up to to shitty takes in the Menzingers thread but here we are

 

This album is solid all around, y'all are weird.

 

It’s okay, we’re all allowed at least 1 shitty take per fiscal year.

 

I listened to this the other day and was surprised how much I liked it given how little staying power it had with me when it came out. Strangers Forever rules.

 

I like Strangers Forever more than Strain Your Memory

 

America is one of their weakest songs lyrically despite being pretty catchy. Definitely worse songs in their discography though.

 

Tom's songs on this one are perfect. Last to Know, Strawberry Mansion? So good.

 

America is middle of the pack for me: not bad by any means, but not really a standout either. But I will not tolerate any Strangers Forever slander

 

agreed on this. think hes definitely gotten much better

 

I personally like the Greg songs way more than the Tom songs. Strain Your Memory is my favorite from the album. America and Strangers Forever are middle of the pack for me from this album.
