I’ve never been able to find the covers EP anywhere

 

that's the direction i hope they expand for the next record!

 

Tom mentioned during the live stream that after the last year and everything which has happened, he has a feeling the next album will be very “on course” for them.

I'm waiting for their vegan straightedge album, On the Impossible Burger.

 

I heard they are recruiting Tom Cruise for their Next album On The Impossible Mission

 

ATP is their best front to back record.

And there are lots of great options.

 

That's the song that sounds most like something from After the Party if you ask me.
Still, I too hope they go (back) in that direction. Love to hear that passion from them.

 

Someone said earlier they couldn't remove anything from After the Party to slot a b-side in. I gave it some thought and I would take Bad Catholics off and throw in No Penance.

 

Bad Catholics is currently my favorite song on that record lol, I’d take off house on fire easily. Skip it almost every time.

 

Bad Catholics is such a Menzingers sounding song. I wouldn’t get rid of anything. Honestly, I have ATP, then Toy Soldier, The Freaks, No Penance, Cemetery’s Garden, Covers EP, and then some other odds and ends. Some of the bsides are better than songs on the album but the albums doesn’t have a weak song or bad sequencing or anything that makes me need to swap anything out.

 

Winter 2022 I guess! Fingers crossed.

my assumption is that theyre booked shows that they cannot, for whatever reason, announce yet. if there was nothing on those dates they'd probably say TBA. someone mentioned maybe Canadian shows that they arent going to announce yet due to the current state of the lockdown and uncertainty with what lies ahead in terms of live shows.

Yep Strain Your Memory is a top tier Menzingers song. These lyrics are quite something:
