Looks like you got your wish! Both got added to the Portland/Seattle shows. (a little bummed no success, but still a dope lineup).
So stoked that Broadway Calls got added. One of my favorite bands in the local scene over the years. I've seen them over 20 times, but it's been a few years.
I've somehow never seen them IN Oregon. I've seen them a few times in other parts of the country, but man I hope Oregon crowds go off for them!
Reallllllly eager to see this lineup in Seattle, but I have football season tix to UW, and they haven't announced a start time on that date. Prob gonna gamble and assume I'm safe based on the opponent. I love seeing Broadway Calls since they don't release new music too often. Zingers haven't been here in a year so I need to be there.
It's been longer than I thought since I've seen them. I haven't seen them since they played at Backspace with Banner Pilot in 2012. They used to get pretty good responses, but they haven't played a lot of shows the last few years so I honestly don't know. I'll forever remember Broadway Calls as the band who introduced me to Polar Bear Club, Fireworks and The Menzingers. They played tiny shows at the Satyricon with those bands back in 2008-2009 and those are still some of my favorite shows I've ever been to.
This starts tonight!! Anyone else going to be at the Portland show? Saw these guys for the first time at the Palladium this summer and it was incredible. Looking forward to seeing the Movielife for the first time though I'm only familiar with a few of their songs.
I guess this doesn't technically start tonight, false alarm. Didn't realize there were Canadian dates before Portland...did they really only play 12 songs in Toronto?
Do they tend to change the sets up a bit night to night? I'm really gonna bummed if this is the only time they play Portland off this album and I don't get "Midwestern States."
Every time I've seen them they've switched at least 3-4 songs a night. They aren't one of those bands who plays the same exact set every night. I expect to hear a lot off of ATP considering it's the first tour to hit here since the album came out.
The only ATP songs I haven't seen yet are The Bars, Boy Blue, Black Mass and Living Aint Easy. I could do without the two latter but hoping for The Bars and Boy Blue in Akron. Also really want The Shakes since they seem to be randomly throwing that in sometimes
Yeah I've noticed they played it I just haven't seen it yet. So hoping to hear it I don't think they've played Black Mass or Living Aint Easy yet
I got to see Charlies Army back on the first headliner for the album and it was awesome. Still can't believe that's not a staple!
I want to hear Charlies Army bad. How are the reaction to the new songs live? I love the album and they will play a ton off of it, but don't want a dead crowd because of it haha Menzingers have the best fans though so I'm not too worried.
