There's absolutely artists or albums that I'd prefer to listen to as one piece of music rather than random tracks, and there are definitely artists that organize their albums in such a way that the closer is the climax/holds more weight when listened to in the context of the album. Idk if the Menzingers are that kind of band, though.
I’m going to love this album. I just know it. So far it’s bridging ATP and HE for me. Still don’t understand why bands pre-release the first and last songs on an album though.
Feels like this will be like the last album for me. Get a decent number of spins the first month or so and then I’ll never come back to it.
Going to hold off on this last one but I'm definitely expecting a step up from the last album based on the singles so far
I thought the last album was excellent, especially the run from the title track through “Take It To Heart”. This one feels like a bit of a step down so far, but I’ll withhold judgement until I get to hear the full thing.
