Everything about this person's posts and profile reek of an actual user. If they didn't have japanese characters in their user name would you even question the validity of this account?

Yes. They were flagged by Akismet, that's how I saw the posts to begin with. I approved them and then continued to monitor to see if URLs were included. The posts are coming from a computer in Iowa.

Why are you always an ass? You like to rush in and be like "holy shit I gotcha!" when you know maybe 1/10th of the information I do.

Because from my end I'm seeing a person make legitimate posts and you're accusing it as spam without presenting any evidence.

If you're seeing something behind the scenes why do you not put a stop to it.

this all reminds me of how ghost bath pretended they were a japanese (chinese? not sure) black metal band but they're actually from like idaho or something

It's why I asked. Literally what I was doing before you jumped with your usual Captain Knowsnothing routine.

And favorite song off OTIP to play is Mexican Guitars, further affirming my snobbery for that song.

Lol my man's only posts in this thread are to call out the owner of the site over a potentially fake user?????

Anyway this remains in steady rotation

Yes, I forgot about that response. I thought of you when I was going through the replies. I hope you get to see it live at some point. It's a fun song live.

I've seen the Menz 6 times up until now and haven't gotten it. From what I've gathered they've played it twice in Chicago at shows I haven't gone to because I was either out of the country or at a different show (Fireworks' last tour).

Last time I got it live was when I drove out to Toledo, Ohio in June of 2015. They did a short small market run with Roger Harvey and Chumped. It was a really fun show.

If you could change my username to that it would be greatly appreciated.

There's a vocal harmony/melody on Boy Blue, that's so close to Green Day's Letterbomb.

Listen to the " I’ve been told / There’s no going home / No room left for you and me" on that song, and then the "She said I can't take this place / I'm leaving it behind" on Letterbomb. Reminds me of it so much.

Yeah that's the exact tour that I missed them on for the Fireworks show. Fortunately they played a free street festival the next day but dropped Mexican Guitars of course lol

I suppose those parts do start similarly. I'll give you that.

Did you ever see them when they were pushing OTIP? I feel like the amount of times they played Chicago you should have gotten it, unless you came in a little after that.

First time I saw em was June 2013. They played a ton of songs off OTIP (including the title track and I Can't Seem to tell), but not Mexican Guitars. Next time I saw em was the first headliner supporting Rented World. I almost saw them when they first headlined in support OTIP in March 2012 but it was my spring break and I was out of the city. A buddy of mine I found out years later went but he's not a big enough fan to remember if they played it or not lol

    Noobie

i just remembered that they played at the starbucks in my school sept. 2015 (well, saw it on setlistfm when trying to remember if they played mexican guitars on the bayside tour) and I hate myself for not "getting" OTIP by then and thus it not being a "must see".

also randomly remember getting coffee that morning, the guy behind the counter had a menzingers shirt on and he complimented my against me shirt

Tried to pull that show up on setlist.fm but it's not completed. It looks like it got played on the Australian run though!
