What about Good Things, Burn After Writing, or Gates? The front half of that album is stacked.

On a separate note, I always have an extremely difficult time remembering whether it's Burn After Reading or Burn After Writing.

just looked up matt allison's discog and was super surprised to find out that he did better whenever, which is just a terribly recorded, terribly mixed, terrible sounding record on all fronts. especially since OTIP is one of my fav sounding punk records ever. damn.

He's done all of the Elway lps and I think all 3 are some of my least favorite work of his.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Can't agree with this statement more. Death Chorus sounded decent, but the lost of Jimmy's raspy vocals basically killed PBC to me. That album was so generic that it almost hurt after three amazing releases.

Stoked for the new Menzingers album. Gonna wait to pass judgment on the production until I can hear some samples.

new Nothing was produced by Yip and he did a good job so... he might (or might not) work for this band

  10. I kinda judge him just for working with Nothing if we're being honest.

I really didn't like the production on that one either. I was extremely excited for Child of the Desert after seeing it live, but the recorded version just fell flat for me.

It's worth it, this band is perfect for summer nights. I can totally see putting this on while hanging with friends and drinkin a few beers out doors

Just listened to On the Impossible Past for the first time. Don't know what took me so long, I got Rented World the day it came out and love it. OTIP is kinda weird. More pop punky and fits into the 'scene' better. I like Rented World more straightforward rock sound a lot.

I think we should agree to call OTIP Waitress: The Musical.

I could see someone belting out "It's not hard to fall for a waitress when you both smoke, smoke the same cigarettes" in showtune style.

I can write pretty basic punk songs, but I don't think I could do this project justice, haha :-p
