Where they gonna go now that their 30s are over?

My expectations for this album were set insanely high based off of the singles, and they knocked it out of the park. I have more nostalgia around this Menzingers album than all the others because it came out a few weeks after I met my wife and we had already gone on 2 dates by that point. For that reason alone it’s my favorite album of theirs.

I’d really like them to bring back some of the more raucous energy that I think has been missing since this record.

Cannot believe it's been 9 years since this was released. I remember going to Zia Records on my lunch break and picking up the Bad Catholics / Lookers 7-in. Same thing with the full album. Lot of good memories associated with these songs.

Shout out to After the Party helping me remember when my wife and I had our first date. First proper play through was my drive to pick her up.

Good guy, but a bad dude

Smoking cigarettes on my breaks while I made $10 an hour writing for a paper and drinking wayyyy too much. Good times.

This is the best punk record of the 2010s, together with Metropole by The Lawrence Arms

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

This is one of my favorite “I’m getting older” records. There’s a timelessness to a lot of it that just strikes a beautiful transition from youthful exuberance to withered wisdom. Love it so much.

I just remembered that True North by Bad Religion came out in 2013 (I somehow thought it was late 00s), that's also up there for me

It’s my head canon that “Charlie’s Army” is about Greg dating The Waitress from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Charlie is pissed and recruits the rest of The Gang to get back at him.

Greg Barnett, this name keeps coming up over and over again. Every day, Greg’s mail keeps getting sent back to me. Greg Barnett. Greg Barnett. I look in the mail, BUT THIS WHOLE BOX IS GREG BARNETT!
