Its been real warm these past few days, so I’ve been listening to this a lot. This is probably tied with OTIP for me; I absolutely love this album
Never heard of The Hard Times, and strangely bands have released albums or projects that I thought were a joke before (New Found Glory/International Superheroes of Hardcore for example). Menzingers did record a couple songs drunk and posted them online before, so a joke ep wouldn’t have been out of the question.
This is basically a dream tour. Saw FT at the 2nd show ever at the Fillmore in Philly, and I saw The Menzi's sell out that place last year. Both shows were incredible. It'll be my first time seeing Lucero too.
I don't listen to any of the other bands on this tour. Not sure that's worth a 3 hour drive and a Menzingers opening set.
Frank Turner's show is easily worth any drive. The dude's a monster live performer. I highly recommend checking him out.
Yeah anyone who hasn't listened to "England, Keep My Bones" should do so immediately Can't imagine a Menz fan not digging it
I said it in the other thread too, I wish this 4 band tour was not allllllll white dudes. But I really like all 4 bands.
I'll lose my mind if Frank comes out for guest vox on a Menz song. I'm guessing he'd do Obituaries, Gates, Nice Things, Asshole, Remission or After the Party.
