Who knows though, the rumors about their new record... That could change things hah

 

"Lookers" live was an experience. Can't wait to hear the studio version of "Thick as Thieves."

 

What are the rumors?

 

Kind of like a restaurant but add a ton of tackiness and the way your grandmother would style any room in her house. Most diners can have anywhere from 100-150 food options and almost everything on the menu ranges from 5-7-10-12 dollars top. Most patrons generally go for breakfast (big omelettes or pancakes) and lunch (turkey BLTs) but seniors usually go for dinner. It's cheap, it's fast, it's tacky, but unlike fast food or chain restaurants, the food is usually fresh and consistent.

 

That it's really experimental / electronic

 

Really loving this band more and more, I could see these guys becoming one of my favorite bands by the end of the year

 

Rented World is on par with Chamberlain Waits, which is to say it's a phenomenal record. It was different, for sure, but only in that it sort of doubled down on the rock side of their sound in the traditional sense of the word. but come on why would you want OTIP 2 when you already have OTIP and it's perfect idgi. The differences were very weird reasons to criticize RW. Good album, and this song is a good song to lead with after RW (and just a good song period)

I just want to sit by the ocean and cry to "Lookers" all day. Fuck I can't wait for the new album.

 

Curious as to where Lookers falls in the tracklisting

 

Lookers has grown on me substantially. I think it was Soundcloud that was fucking up because the Menzingers uploaded it to Facebook and it sounds perfect now.

 

I am so ready to see them live and pre-order their record.

Hopefully between some of the tours they have done to expand their reach and the hopeful success of this new album, they can can take the next step forward in their progression.

 

Yeah I'm really hype for a release date and tracklisting now. I need to slam my money on this record asap

I loved Lookers at first and it's still growing on me goddamnit why is this band such a treasure

 

Pretty sure I got my girlfriend into these guys yesterday, which is great. Nothing Feels Good Anymore and In Remission came on in the car and she like both of them quite a bit.

 

Lookers has to be in the conversation for song of the year so far. I have to stop playing it on repeat so I don't wear it out before the album drops.

 

Lookers has to be one of the best songs they've released as a band

 

I lost my voice during their set yesterday and now I wanna die

 

Or go see them live again!

 

I would kill a man to see these guys live :(

 

I lost my voice towards the end of their set on Thursday and it's still not fully back.

 

I have another entire day of Wrecking Ball today with an awful cold/sore throat
