I, uh, am happy for the band, but I'm gonna have to sit this one out.

 

I don't much care for Offspring anymore and never really cared about Sublime, but that tour sounds like a fucking awesome night with some friends on the lawn and I'd be there in a heartbeat. Wish it was hitting Saratoga.

 

I'm not really into either band anymore, but still super excited for the Menzos to be playing to a large audience who likely haven't heard of them before

 

actually psyched about this, will be an easy way for me to see the menzingers play a good 40-45 min set and then get home nice and early. that's the dream isn't it?

I remember when Smash came out, and when Sublime shot to fame after the passing of Bradley Nowell. Bands are famous enough to enjoy if you went to see Menzingers (assuming they are good live).

It's on a Friday in Chicago, so I will probably end up saying fuck it and go. This is the type of tour the band should play following the reception to ATP. I like early Offspring and I will tolerate the Sublime With Rome fans.

 

Menz isn't playing the Chicago date, since they're playing Riot Fest a week later.

 

I actually dont think they are playing the long island date either since theyre playing the project pabst festival in philly the same day. Oh well.

They were so fun holy shit.

Also Captain We're Sinking! opened the show. That made for some good jokes

I also haven't seen The Sidekicks in so long so I'm not sure who I'm actually more excited to see

Do they have a screen print of the tour admat? Would love to pick that up

They do a screen print of the tour admat it's $20. They have a couple cool ringer tee's as well

I won't! Getting there for the first opener as they rule (Super American).

I'm not a fan of Waiting room though. The ceiling is too low // the stage is too low so it's hard to see it there's tall people. Sound quality is also pretty bad. But I take what I can get.

 

I was upstairs I don't know if thats the same one? Saw The Flatliners there

Super American is solid though, I dig the release they just put out

 

Ahhh yes, the upstairs is better. The downstairs is more long & narrow.

 

Show was fantastic last night. I'm mildly upset that we didn't get Casey but...the show was good enough that I can't be too mad.

Also, poor Greg got (accidentally) kicked square in the mouth by a crowdsurfer. He was a trooper about it.
