Yeah, I like this record and still listen to songs from it weekly, but haven't spun it in full since around release time. So much good music and too many good podcasts going, and my ears only have so much free time. Seeing their NYS cruise show in July and I'm sure that coupled with good weather will make Menzingers reign supreme again.
I actually haven't listened to this for a while, not because I don't like it (I actually love it!), only bc there has been so much good music released already this year and I've been trying to give everything a proper listen. I'll have to give this a spin in the coming days
I listen to "Your Wild Years" at least once every couple days, even if I don't listen to the record in full that often.
I loved the album when it came out. I listened to it pretty consistently for 2-3 weeks, but I've just been caught up with other music and school right now. Haven't really devoted much time to new music, unfortunately.
It was inevitable that I was going to slow down on listening to this. Once a rainy spring turns to a sunny summer I'll come back more, I'm sure.
After rinsing this for weeks on end I've been on a heavy kick recently, just spamming letlive., ETID and '68. I'll get back into it as soon as the weather turns sunny I'm sure but at the moment I crave riffs
I haven't played this as much lately as I did when it came out, but that's going to change with the arrival of warmer weather.
I'm not sure this is my favorite album from their neighborhood anymore. (Still their best and one of my favorites of the year though)
This is a great year for albums I'd casually call "top 10" but so far there's nothing I'd put at one. Kendrick maybe. Two big competitors for that spot come out this week though.
Lots of good music so far this year but this and Kendrick are a step above everything else I've listened to
Yeah I don't listen to this as constantly as I did when it dropped but it's still by far my favorite album this year and every time I do listen it rips just as hard as it did the first time I listened
This is definitely my number one so far this year. I think Power Trip, Diet Cig, Nothington, and Kendrick are in the mix for the next tier.
Definitely my favorite of the year so far, other contenders are los campesinos and the Smith Street band
Definitely my favorite punk album of the year so far, but that's likely to be overtaken by Captain We're Sinking. Sorry not sorry.
Yup, after 3 months I can confidently say that this album will end up on my AOTY list. One of the few albums I can sing the entire thing in my head without actually listening to the music
