I immediately said "God dammit Yip" during that beginning. Still like the song a lot though.

 

Damn, that was a fun first listen! Love the Menzingers. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks.

 

I like to think Greg was kickin' back with a joint listenin' to some N-Back and thought to himself "Ya know what fuck it. I bet I can write a better song about lookin' at pictures than this."

 

For what it's worth, I tend to enjoy "Tom songs" more than "Greg songs," but it's all the same band and that shit rips. Excited to hear the rest of this album!

 

That slow down on the bridge caught ya boi by surprise.

Better then anything on Rented World.

This song hit fucking hard. Hellyeah. Never really loved these guys the way everyone else seems to, maybe that changes this album.

 

Hope they play this tonight at Revolution.

 

I think a big part of the reason I personally like Greg more is because he's easier to understand than Tom.

 

My thoughts exactly...love everything this band has put out.

 

I like Greg on emotional jams and Tom (is OUT) on party jams ya feel me.

 

I tend to gravitate to old Menzingers more, so maybe that's why I have a larger affinity for Tom songs? Example:

Some people have bizarre opinions about this band. Not sure what some of y'all are smokin', but quit that ish pronto, b/c the 'zingers are on point and both Tom & Greg kick fucking ass and sound great. Really hoping album deets emerge soon. Mid-October release would be fine :D

this is the best song they've released so far.

 

The more I listen the more I love the sugaryness on the vocal track. Very TGA as Jason mentioned.

Unfortunately, the Menzingers are likely never going back to the Hold On Dodge/Chamberlain Waits era. Which was their peak, IMO.

This new track is pretty blah across the board.

 

I love this band, I love this song, I love the Wonder Bar reference in the chorus, I love everything about what is going on here.

 

I like this band but this is probably the first song I have instantly loved by them.
