Went in pretty much blindly last night - so good, was not sure what to expect at all. Figured she would be the only one to get away from the situation given she shouldn't have been there in the first place.
Movie was pretty good! I don’t think it was all particularly as effective as it could have been, but Mylod is onto something
This was really good. I thought it found the balance of tension and horror and comedy pretty much perfectly. Fittingly, I ate a burger while watching. Dude is totally right about s'mores though. They're terrible.
So wait, now that I'm thinking about this, if you think melty chocolate is gross, does this mean you've never had a hot fudge sundae?
I can't find a gif that properly captures the mixture of emotions this invokes in me. What is this place? Is this real? Where am I? Who am I? I'm bereft, lost on a sea of confusion.
I think some of the criticism of this movie is endemic to a bad era of film consumption. People keep looking for a one-to-one of what this means. But it's less what it means and more what it's about. And it's about a lot. Eat the rich, sure. But how making art your career can consume you. About the tension between making an art out of something everyone needs to survive. And plenty more.
