Halfway into Reloaded. It’s insane how poorly some of this action has aged.

imagine that being the scene that gets a reaction out of you lol

 

I mean it’s pretty goofy - the whole imagine thing escapes me

I also still enjoy the first two films - it’s just been years since I’ve seen them and it’s wild to think how dated it is, especially when it was so cutting edge the last time I saw it.

 

I mean the dance party scene is great so...

 

I remember hating the rave scene when I saw the movie in theaters. I wonder if I'd feel any differently now?

 

The rave scene is a fantastic representation of humanity vs the sterile nature of the machine created Matrix. I can’t imagine thinking it’s goofy.

 

Rave scene works for me.

 

I appreciated the rave scene more after seeing them do similar scenes in Sense8

 

Apparently it's not an uncommon thought because TV Tropes has it under Big Lipped Alligator Moment in their YMMV section.

Not my personal thoughts, mind you.
