So only one sibling is directing? I never watched the third film and the only thing I remember from watching the second one in cinemas is a Freddy vs Jason trailer.

I’ll watch both when this is close to release.

 

The CGI? No.
The actual set pieces? Kinda
The themes and dialogue? Yes.

I just can’t see this being good, I just can’t. Still gonna watch it of course.

Why would they put this against John Wick 4? Feels like a weird move since I would imagine the two films have a fairly large crossover audience and Wick has been the much more popular franchise recently.

 

Maybe WB thinks that LionsGate will blink. Or...they're stupid.

As flawed as they are, I still look forward to new Matrix movies.

 

Still not sure how to feel about this sequel. It might be for the best that the Akira movie is never made, though.

John Wick will 100% get delayed or pushed forward.

 

This being made just feels like a desperate attempt to reverse the box office woes of previous films the Wachowski's have been involved in though I personally loved Cloud Atlas and didn't hate Jupiter Ascending as much as I expected.
